I thought I'd provide an update. We pulled the fuel filter off and it was clogged as I could not blow through it. We replaced the filter and the car run for about 10 minutes then died. We noticed the pump was no longer coming on when putting the key in the on position.
I decided to pull the pump and swap it out. Car started right up. FP is where it should be. We put about 70 miles on it with no problem.
Still curious as to why the pump died after replacing the fuel filter. Maybe just coincidence but I typically don't believe in them.
