Default Help with Procharger installation

I live in th Dallas Texas area and need to get Procharger D1 with intercooler installed on my 86 corvette. I have called a couple of shops and they are telling me between 4k and 6k......that is ridiculous to me. Does anyone have any contacts or suggestions?

Does that include the price of the supercharger?

No, and these shops are known in Dallas (Speedtek) are saying that is install only. It seems very unreasonable. Procharger calls this a 8 to 10 hour installation. At $100 per hour that is $1,000. Let's say they are scared (which seems to be all the garages in Dallas) and its 15 hours that $1500. These guys seem unsure of their abilities......scared.

The instillation does not require you to be a master mechanic. The install is pretty simple. I did mine with no outstanding knowledge. The tuning is a bit more challenging depending on the route you take.

Theres only one guy who can tune it for you anymore. Call TrueStreet Motorsports in McKinney and ask for Sean.

The install should be pretty straight forward like Brian said, alot of info out there. The feed line and drain line should be easy enough to hook up as well if you have a place to work on it. True Street may also be able to do an install for you as well.

Who cares what they tune with as long as they tune ?

Or are you really saying they do not want to tune the stock ECM ?

Ditto...

Unfortunately Sean is the only one who will touch these any more, everyone else has moved on to LS. At least in a couple hundred mile radius. If you find someone else let us know!
