I absolutely loved my 3.73's after I put them in!
The gears were about $400 with installation kit (Strange Gears)
Ring & pinion setup about $500
I destroyed my 3-4 clutches after a week of "enjoying" my gears :lol:
My rear tires were new at the time, and after about 8k miles, I need new ones.
Unfortunately, the pinion seal is leaking, so I have it up on stands to replace that. A leaking freeze plug sealed the deal!
Enjoy and be sure to keep your eyes open for the law! :cool:

I thought with gears your time improves, but you LOSE trap speed? please explain :confused:
Like I said, w/stock 2.59 my et's were consistent 13.90's and 80's @ 101mph, since the 3.54 gear went in I have had consistent 13.30's @105 mph and even run a 13.23@105.45mph and a 13.25@105.9mph.

What company manufactured the gear set? Is there a difference in gear noise? The OEMs usually put a lot of engineering into gear noise reduction, and I was curious how the aftermarket stuff is.
