Relay or switch?
Turn the key on and pump kicks on and good psi at rail but doesn't start until oil psi is about 5. I thought if it had good psi at the rail with key on then the relay is good?

OPS is only a "BACKUP" for the fuel pump. ECM controls the relay. Cliff has some corrected wiring schematics from an '86 FSM that you might compare to your '87? I think. If you have SES at "key-on/no-start" then the ECM is powered so you would check the relay supply from the ECM. Remember it's only a 2 second thing.

It's an 86, forgot to mention the year. Car also as has VATS bypass in the chip n I did the starter. I honestly don't rem when it started, I've been off-n-on working on the car Cold start injector is deleted in the chip also.

Well read that thread and went out n pulled the 3amp emc/ign fuse. It was good but it had a bad connection because soon as I put it back in the problem went away, so I replaced it with a new fuse anyway. idk is the SES light was on before and I think it wasn't but it is now.
