I have a 1986 Corvette that is experiencing random shut off's after it has warmed up. It has shut off idling and under load while driving, as the engine dies the check engine light blinks for just a second.
The electronic ignition module has been replaced at this point and the engine run better but still will randomly shut off. Not sure where to go from here and hoping its a known issue and can be cured with a little work.
I would test it and the coil new parts can be bad. Did you use the proper thermal grease on it when you installed it? Check fuel pressure might just be as simple as a fuel filter. Any codes?
