well the bogging issue is all fixed..... guess what it was... hilarious, but it explains the symptoms perfectly.... the brand new fuel pump strainer failed and was essentially being sucked up blocking the fuel pump.. fixed... and DARN DOES IT RIP... I can already see myself getting into trouble in this thing... exactly how I like it...

thanks to all for all the help !!!!!

still need to figure out what that wire goes to... any thoughts? green wire coming out of the harness right at the top of the tranny, goes to connector, connected to a black wire... where does that black wire go?

Yeah it was definately an interesting one to find. but its fixed, thank god.. that was a month of dinking around with crap

on the down side... the fix kinda did cost me $150.... i left my cell phone on the back of the car when i went for a test drive.. well the test drive was checking full throttle and load... so the phone flew off the back at about 50mph.. and well , needless to say im buying a new phone today

yep, reverse lights work..

the green wire is coming out of that harness right at the top of the trans, directly behind the distributor.. about 2 inches out of the harness.. it has that connector.. single wire connector.. and the wire its connected to on the other side is the black wire.. on my car its about 6-8 inches long... i found it laying toward the passenger side.. but who knows where its supposed to go... maybe ill try and find someone local to look at their car...

LOL...thanks... good advise...

Well ive still got 3 kinda issues.. so im guessing it has to do with one of them... but all of my gauges /lights etc all work...

code 24.. speed sensor.. my speedo and the sensor both work properly..
code 36 maf burnoff... maf and relay both replaced.. still not working.
OD unit kicks in and out at will... i unplugged the relay so its not functional..

im guessing this wire has to do with one of these three issues.. just not sure which one or where its supposed to go... vs loooking at a schematic and guessing which circuit it might be associated to.. i think im gonna see if a forum member will look at their car for me.. or iill try and find someone local to take a peak of their car and see where it goes..

just a bad sock... when i drained all my old fuel i cleaned the tank pretty good.. the bottom portion of the sock became kinda seperated and was getting pulled into the fuel inlet.. annoying on a brand new sock... wish i could remember what brand it was, they would be hearing an earfull from me..
