Fuel pump pickup
'84 vette, has the same problem as lots of people seem to have, cuts out on hard corners when fuel is low. What do I need to look at on the pickup end? What can be serviced, and what needs to be replaced exactly. Also the big question, what does it cost and where do I send my money to! TIA :smash:

When you pull the pump and guage assy out you will be able to reach it. it's at the bottom of the tank. It's glued in place (I think) but I have no idea of what kind of glue. I don't see how it could be wired in place either ........ I would sure try it if it were possible......... :seeya

In over 2 years on the forum I have never heard of the baffel coming loose for anyone until this week. I would look elsewhere first. Not that it isn't a possibilty, but I would rule out the more common issues first.
