Trying to change my horn relay in my 94,,,How do you get the right lower panel down, I see no screws or clips...Thanks in advance for any info.
Why do you think the relay is bad. Most problems are the switches in the steering wheel. I would check the horns first before I would pull the car apart to get to the relay. If your real quiet, you can hear the relay close if it is working and the horns don't sound. But if the switches in the wheel are bad, you obviously won't hear anything.
Im hearing a clicking when I press the horn button,,Its coming from where the relay is located...Still trying to get the lower panel down, My 1994 has no carpet on the iower panel and I see no screws or bolts...If anyone has removed this lower panel please tell me how,I know Im missing something simple...Thanks again for any Help.
i have a 1991, might be similar. remove the plastic trim panel surrounding the fuse panel (3 screws). then you can access the remaining hidden screw (secret location) that holds up that corner of the hush panel.
I never took my pass side off my 94 and it is covered now. But the drivers side was. If I were you I would jump 12 volts to your horns it sounds like they are bad or have a bad ground since your relay is clicking. And my horn buttons crumbled 60 bucks of ebay.
Found this for the pad.
Yep, I found 4 nuts holding mine on from inside the dash. What a pain it was to get to them!

I had a similar problem in my 95 when I first got it... pressed the horn button, heard the click but no horn. Ended up that the horns themselves were rusted inside. I tried the penetrating oil trick and freed up both horns. Still working great. You can test the horns by disconnecting them and then applying 12v directly and see if they work. They may just click or nothing. Far better to try the oil trick before spending $$$ on replacements. Good luck!

I actually found it in another thread, here's the excerpt:
"Originally Posted by Damien89If you push the horn button and you hear the relay click check if their's voltage coming to the wires of each horn, if yes,
take the horns out, remove the resistance screws and spray penetrating oil and give them a good shake so the penetrating oil cleans the inside, get the penetrating oil out, refit the screws then re fit them and test them."
You will need to tweak the adjustment screw somewhat to get the best sound, but it works like a charm.
