Does anybody know the weight of a stock flywheel on a 4+3 1985 Corvette? Thanks.
if it's actually an original flywheel I believe the '84 & '85 was 15# and much sought after at one time for use with the earlier SBC. The GM# 14085720 is still advertised at that weight and is still available. The only other cars that got that I believe was an early F-body '83. If it has been replaced by an after-market it could certainly be heavier because many just shopped a 153 tooth for the correct clutch size and didn't know or pay attention to weight.
***I ain't got one hangin' on the wall to verify so if someone mentions 17# and says he does I can't argue LOL

The flywheel in my '84 looks identical to the L-88 flywheel in my '69. Weight was 14-15# IIRC.
