Finally got my 700R4 dropped and rebuilt with a shift kit. Car runs like new. The hardest part of droping and reinstalling the transmission were the transmission lines. Would really like to meet the engineer that located these hard to access lines should have to remove them and reinstall them. If this ever happens again I think I will go to flexable stainless braided hoses.
Well now that the transmission is done I guess that I will start going through the engine to see what is wearing out on it. For a car with 120,000 miles it still runs good. The only thing that is changed is a shift kit and flowmaster mufflers.
Thanks for the help on the busted exhaust manifold stud. Took exhaust off and drilled out and retapped. Put anitseze on this time. :jester :chevy
