Default Lifter Upgrade

My engine was built by my friend Jake in 2002. At the time the .300 taller lifter with a .180 offset wasn't available from anyone ISKY .150 lifter was used. With the advancement in technology, I decided to replace the 150 offset with 180 offset. I went with the Non-needle bearing, called Bushed lifters. They can handle more spring pressure, I am running around 672 lb. I was alway worried when the spring pressure would affect the needle bearing. Jake and I did plenty to insure to oiling system was up to the standards that is used in circle track engines.

I was shocked at the difference between them. First though was they sent me the wrong one because of the height. Found out the link bar location is the important thing. The new lifters are so much lighter, engine should rev quicker.
