Default question about 86

i have an 86 well first quest? where is the mat sensor located and what temperature should it be running on a 80 degree day or so.

also what is going on when my car is surging at the stoplight, but it does not do it all the time.

avg temps in my car are 210 oil/180-185 coolant with my 160 and Chip

Before it was about 225 oil/210-215 cruising

i'm thinking the MAT sensor is at the back of the plenum, but i dont have my manual here with me and ive never messed with the MAT sensor/MAT relocation crap.

Surging might be the MAF or IAC or plug wires (it was a bad plug wire in my car)

The mat sensor is under the plenum at the rear of the eng. My temp runs about 190 to 215 depending on traffic. Check the Idle air control for the surging. Mabey its dirty.
