Default Shorted battery terminals together

O.K. Bad luck today. Been working on my 85 L98. Had negative battery disconnected, as always. Knocked a pair of vise grips down, and as luck would have it they wedged perfectly from the negative terminal to the positive terminal ( which was still connected to teh battery. Of course sparks and a hot set of vise grips til i got it off. Question, could it have damaged ECM or other circuits. Currently fuel system disconnected to replace injectors so cant start it and see. Ill check fuses as all were ok prior.

Don't worry. There was no ground path for current to flow since you had the negative terminal disconnected.

That's right. The only damage could be to your battery or vice grips.
