make a 50/50 mixture of atf and acetone. put it in a small oiler can. douse all bolts and the exhaust gasket and let soak.
exhaust manifold is not press fit. can you see a gasket? probably just rusted/seized. if you are junking and you have decent access personally i would cut them off and then deal with them on the engine stand.

I see the gasket, it's badly rusted so it must be seized. I can get right up to it, so cutting it is no big deal at this point. I am just frustrated I can't work it out. Everything else went so smooth, I jinxed myself
Yeah the bell-housing bolts. I have extension + universal joint adapter + 9/16 6-pt + 1/2 ratchet that extends into break bar lengths. Nada.
I will definitely soak and give it another go. Putting them back in is going to be a bitch

Yeah. I am not cutting the manifolds just where the exhaust connects to them below the flange. So if someone can use them I'm definitely open to selling.
Pulled mine last weekend-had headers so mine didn't come apart too bad but I did use a sawzall on one since the exhaust guy welded right by a bolt. I couldn't get my bellhousing bolts either so I let it on the engine and pulled it.
The exhaust to remove might be a pain. If you are talking about removing post catalytic converter, undo the bolts and the slip fit connection, then info all the support straps at the trans and the differential. The next step is to undo the muffler supports. Have s floor jack handy to support the exhaust system. At that point wiggle the exhaust at the mufflers side to side s bit. Then while moving it side to side start pulling the system reward. It will eventually pull of the slip fit and come down.
Since you are using a universal, the bell housing bolts will require a bit of force to pop as well. It might help to grab your half inch breaker bar at the head and pull it towards you as you swing the bottom away from you. That should provide enough force.
