1985 stock, in the process of putting everything back together after replacing the intake gaskets. Took good pictures to this point to reassemble.
So dumb question, what is this sticking out the bottom of the plenum? I've done lots of searches without luck. I don't remember if this was hooked up when I pulled the plenum.
I see this green connector that I'm not sure of where it goes but it doesn't reach the plenum piece coming down. Should these connect or is it something else? I thought maybe I had it on the wrong side of the distributor when I reinstalled but I don't think so. Lots of trial and error for me when putting everything back together.

it is your intake air temperature. That connecter with the green waterproofing needs to be plugged in. Perhaps you have wedged it underneath your distributor. Loosen stuff off until you can dig it out and correct it.
on picture number one The other metal threaded connecter is for your break boost vac source.

Thank you! I figured out where it was logged and was able to pull it out.
