How long should it take a shop to install headers on a '84 Vette? Took my car in today, they said about 5 hours unless there is an issue with any of the bolts.

A lot of that will depend upon what brand headers. Some fit good some don't.

I got headman. There were a couple reviews from '84 owners who said they did installed them in their garage and it was pretty straight forward.

I stopped by the shop on my way home. They had one side installed and was told we are on course for the five hours he quoted me on. Long tubes look good from underneath.

It was nice to see the car from underneath for the first time. Pretty pleased with the shape it's in as was the mechanic who has also owned an '84
