Question about Headers / Vortec Heads.
Car is an 85, Auto. Vortec cylinder heads.
Been eyeing some of the headers in the used section. Also the OBX brand, new.
Does anyone happen to know which brands will fit an L98 W Vortecs without creating spark plug clearance issues?

Lt1 headers don't fit vortec ports well and do not clear the early c4 steering shaft.
I had l98 headmans on my 86 with vortec heads and they fit fine. When I swapped the heads for GM fastburns which use lt1 exhaust ports and gaskets I had to do some welding and grinding to fit the ports. After I bought the lt1 OBX headers which fit the ports I had to change the steering intermediate shaft to the lt1 shaft to clear the headers.
