Default New problem ?

Hello,
92 lt1. Was messing around under hood tonight. Nothing major. I noticed that when car was in park, automatic. three well spaced times I reved the engine to say 2500 rpms , and when it dropped down the 650 rpm. The dash and door lights blinked on and off ? What's going on ?

Was any door open at that time?

Were the door lights on or off before you reved the engine?

What position was the headlight switch?

I don't know enough to make a valid suggestion of a direction yet. But if you want a off the cuff guess at this time, check to door switches for proper adjustment. Is the idle speed motor working properly, 650 might be a bit low.
