Plug wires...
Anyone have a preference on plug wires, i.e. what kind to use? I'm replacing mine, it's a 94 LT1 mostly converted to an LT4....30k miles...

MSD superconductors, the 8.5mm, best wire going period. the taylor spiro pros aren't bad but they won't resist oil & under the hood junk nearly as well as the MSD. if a taylor gets oil on it they can & will leak spark. if the wires are touching where the oil soaks through you'll crossfire.

MSD all the way, quite possibly the best plug wires available. The only drawback is that they do not fit the stock wire looms.

Did you make your own wire looms, or are there ones you can buy?

Re: Plug wires... (baddmann)
ACCEL 8.8's w/ "Made for You" wire looms that connect to the valve cover center bolts. Wires work great, but next time I'm going with something that I can tailor fit to the engine. Some of the wires I have are too damm long. Additionally, half of this set are 90 degree boots at the plugs, the other four have flexible connections. Seems like the #6 plug (the one behind the dip stick) is the only one that really needs the flex connector. My .02.

Re: Plug wires... (CORKVETTE1)
I run the Taylor 10.4 mm 409's best wire period (IMO). They have a fitted set available, it fits perfectly, but of course because of the 10.4 mm wire size you must use their looms.
