What is this part?
While changing the thermostat, one of the small hoses connected to this part broke off. The part is clipped to a metal plate held down by the rearmost thermostat bolt. 2 thin vacuum lines go in and another a thicker one is attached, plus there is a 2 wire electric clip.
Please can you tell me what part this is, and also where to find it in the service manual.

6E3-C7 section of the FSM for most years. There's other sections also. Vacuum routing label should be on a label under-hood.
This should have appropriate vacuum routing if yours is missing.

My thanks to both of you for the quick replies- went to page 6E3-C7-3 and there was the part. I've pulled the short broken end out of the rubber joiner and hope what's left of the tube will be long enough to push in.
I've come up against a further problem, one thin hose that won't fit the barbed inlet - I've started a new thread with explanation and photo, I'd appreciate if you'd have a look
