Something interesting.. I dunno if it is related or how?
I happen to own the world's fastest lawnmower. (I think I'm serious about that claim, actually.)
It is an ExMark Turf Tracer. It has the sulky and you have to be Jackie Chan to ride it.
It is driven by two hydraulic motors and a pump.. On the side of the hydraulic tank it has a sticker that says: Use Mobil One 15W50 ONLY.
Again with the oil magic and that particular brand and grade of oil?
It has a high viscosity and 1300ppm of zinc. It wont break down like a 5-10w30. Years ago (20-30 now) you were either a 5.0 Mustang dude or a Grand National guy. All of my GN buddies all ran Mobil 1 15w50. They all swore by that sauce back in the day. It was and still is a great oil.

years ago , i was a factory sales rep for Federal Mogul . while on tour of one of the engine bearing factory's, a design engineer was asked " what's the best engine oil " ? his reply " ANY OIL, AS LONG A THERE IS SOME IN THE ENGINE " amen.
Guys, just for additional info, the Callaway B2k does not have the stock oil pump either. It has a very high pressure unit...one know for sheering off distributor gears. It takes a hardened steel unit to last any time at all.
