I have a ZZ-9 cam and large tube TPI System. I want to add a Superram intake to may car this winter and I want to know if it is worth my money and time to change the cam from the ZZ-9 to the 219. The car runs 12.60's with the current configuration and I want to run 12.00's. I was hoping the Superram and 3.73 gears would get me to my goal. Do I need to change to the 219 cam to acheive my goal? What kind of power difference will there be between the two cams?
Scorp, your buddies car has substantlly less power then yours, are both cars stick shift cars? The 284 RWHP with the SR is less then my long tube intake setup, that bothers me. Is somehing else holding back his combination besides the cam?
