The first time I start my '87 in the morning it turns right over but then every time after that it starts much harder. Does anyone else have this problem?
Sound like injectors leak. There are other test procedure, but it too technical for me. I checked by taking the spark plugs out and see wich one is wet. That will be the one taht leaks. Replace all eight. I think Cuz Performance can cleaned, flow test for you for MUCH less than buying new one.
Check to see if the engine temp. is less than 100 degree, easy start. More than 100 degree hard start. You do have a cold start injector for 87 right?
Check the plugs while the engine still warm, hard start condition. The cold start valve would be between the runner on the driver side. You would see the same (similar) type of wire plug that attached to it just like the one on the injectors.
You said the car start fine when the engine cold, just hard to start after it warm up. My car was hard to start when hot, more than 100 degree. Less than 100 degree the cold start valve spray more fuel in to start the car, hence start easy in the morning.
Hopefully someone else will answer your question. Also, do a search on this topic. There were many people with this hard to start (hot or cold)problems.

I had the same problem too when my '87 was running. I saw a mention of injectors and thought I'd chime in on what was said about mine. I took them to Rich at Cruisin' Performance for a cleaning and he said 3 were leaking.
