Default Cheap obd1 scanner...

Does anyone know of a cheap, under $100, scanner one that will show more than just codes? Tried looking on ebay, Amazon and online but not much luck. Thanks in advance! " Ken

If you have a Windows laptop download Tunerpro RT and buy a cable. Less than $100 and scans and tunes.

Damn sorry no laptop just an iPad pro. I just ordered a old Auto Xray scanner for obd1 GM cars. Didn't cost me much. Still looking for ideas though. Thanks!

Actron CP9690 works on my 1994. Not cheap at $189 but will work on newer OBD2 cars as well.

I bought a Actron Model CP9001 for less than $50. Comes with a code book. Works great on my 86. I think I bought it on Ebay.

I use an Actron, but if you want the option to read what the computer is seeing real time then the scanner version will be over $100.

A simple code reader will be like $50

Bought a used Autoxray for Obd1 for $25 but I need a different cable, already ordered and on it's way. So we will see if it works right. Hope so since I have a very intermittent CEL, its come on twice and goes off when I turn car off and on. Car doesn't run weird or bad so I'm assuming whatever it is is not a life or death issue.
