C4 Antenna repair
I have a 1989 Z51 with Manual trans. The antenna has no mast in it. Does anyone know where I can get a mast and a video or written directions on making a repair.
I saw a picture of a 1985 Corvette and the fuel injector pigtails have a protective cover that runs from the wiring harness to the injectors. Does anyone know where to find them. I called Zip and Ecklers and they have never heard of them.
Thank you
Amazingly easy. Pull the grommet, remove the nut, turn radio on. Mast out. Insert new mast, turn radio off. Replace nut and grommet. Presto. Unless there are remnants of the other mast gear in the housing. Then, you have to remove the entire unit. Mine was easy.

What I think is that someone ripped the antenna out of the housing. The motor turns but nothing is in the housing. I changed the radio but I can still connect the motor to the new radio power.
Thank you again.
Oh and I just looked at the link. That is how the that works. Thank you
I was trying to figure how the mast gets pushed up.
