1995 Corvette Coupe. 46k Miles. Mods: Open Air lid with K&N filter. 1.6 Roller Rockers, 160 stat, Tune, Dana 44 with 3:54 gears, QA1 single adjustable shocks front and rear. Best ET 13.20 @105 on a M/T 275-40-17 drag radial. Best sixty foot 1.88. Looking to do an aftermarket torque converter over the winter. I know once torque converter is installed I will need the OBD1 Stall Wall issue addressed in the Tune.
Any and all thoughts and opinions are welcome. Thanks.

I've been running a Yank SS 3200 TC for the past 70,000 miles on my 95 although I don't track my car at all.
If you don't mind.... what is the Stall Wall Issue that you mention above?
Mr P,
OBD1 stall wall issue occurs when using a higher stall converter. It usually happens when doing a burn out prior to drag racing the car at the track. The VSS signal to the PCM is lost which then puts the vehicle in limp mode which will start the vehicle in second or third gear prior to staging the car. It can be remedied by using an OBD1 friendly tuning software Tunercat and remedied by having the PCM not read the VSS signal.

That what I'm going to put in my car (or the Vigilante), I've been told not to waste money on others that are cheaper. How do you like the 3200 stall in your car?
vette196: I have been very happy with mine. It has made my 3.07 A4 a blast to drive............ but my non highway gas mileage has gone down as the fun has gone up

How old is the trans? I wouldn't put a good TC into an old used trans. I'd rebuild the whole thing or forget it till it breaks.
Trans is original. Well maintained with 46k miles.
I wouldn't if it were my money. That old a trans and if it breaks, it craps all into the TC so if it happens in 2 years of purchase of a Precision Industries one, you can have a free "restall" where they cut it apart and clean it and weld it back.
I have broken 700R4s that are stock way under 100K so..... Depends on whether you will push it once you get some mods or not. If you honestly think you won't, think again.

May have do a rebuild on the trans while it out. Or find another trans and rebuild that one.

Haven't heard about too many bad things about any of the 3. Using PI because both builders use it not that I think it is any better than Yank or Circle D.
Have you run the LS3 yet? What trans will you be running with the LS3?
Haven’t run the ‘98 with the LS3. The trans is a built 4L60E by RpM Transmissions in Indiana. I’m also running a Precision Industries Vigilante 3600 Stall Converter with a built RPM rear with 3:73 gears.
