I purchased an AutoXray easy scan 6000 years ago. Apparently the company has gone out of business a while back and there is no longer any support or firmware upgrades for the product. Looking for similar product recommendations.

Thanks!
IIRC, they were bought out by Innova and they don't support stuff that old anymore so if it works, good for you. If not, go somewhere else. I am going to try out ALDL Droid but the SnapOn "Brick" works.

I have an OTC Nemisys that I am very happy with. Eventually I might update it with new software, but our newest car, a 2015 still has a warranty for a bunch more years so I won't need it yet.
I like it, because, like most quality scan tools, it shows most everything you need to diagnose issues, OBD I and II. It even popped the ABS valves on my son's 93 Suburban when it ran through the diagnostics. I use in on my 04.5 Duramax diesel 2500HD as well as my '96 Vette.
I am not sure how it compares price wise to some of the newer, and/or other companies tools. I paid $1200.00 for it about 8 yrs ago and it paid for itself as soon as it arrived as I found a couple bad injectors on the truck (shouldn't have been bad, but were) and had them replaced under warranty @ $450.00 per injector plus labor.
I also have a OTC Nemisys good tool. They only ran the software up thru 2014 or so. No more updates for this tool. You can find them on ebay pretty reasonable.
