auto transmission info
I need a little info from all the C4 auto transmission gurus out there...when you are cruising at about 45 MPH, if you go to WOT is that a 43-3 downshift or is that a 4-2 downshigt...any help on this would be really appreciated~

At 45mph it should drop into 2nd gear.
To verify run up to 45mph in 2nd and check the tach; then hammer it while at 45mph in 4th and recheck the tack.

I think the answer at 45 is 3rd or OD to 2nd.
I know the answer when I'm autocrossing a low speed course in 2nd that at 35 when I hit WOT on the last turn it downshifts to 1st :jester
