Window regulator lube question?
What type of lube do you use on the window regulator ribbon? I've replaced my driver's side ribbon twice in one year now and I am wondering what caused the part to bad so fast. :mad

GM upgraded that ribbon design in 86 to 87 to a metal arm design because of the ribbon failing. You can upgrade yours-not cheap and takes some time, but I did it after replacing too many ribbons....

try some good synthetic grease or lithiuim grease either should work fine my major complaint with the older windows is that they are so dam slow going up :cheers:
