Yeah I'll try and contact Bogus. Twichy2011 showed what his brain box looks like.

That's his right there. I mount mine where everyone else does. Under the right side headlight.

Having a 93 LT1 since new and only garaged since new if ambient tempertures are not met the opti will rust over night and electrical issues happen. If car is in garage get block up to a good 70 degrees and try starting car. Also that box looks corroded . I would q tip it out then use a hair drier to dry out. All connectors should be removed and hit with the heat gun using cool setting. Electrical contact cleaner can be used but make sure you dry with cool blower air. These are suggestions always remove dc power when working on live circuits

In the garage trying to diagnose at the moment. Fuel pressure is weak at key on. And one red blink from LTCC box every 4 seconds, only with key ON, engine off. Oddly, the car still starts, and runs fine. Running, steady green light. Maybe you guys are right, it probably is corrosion. There are dabs of some white paste like stuff when you get the LTCC box new. I touched it, and it feels more like some sort of silicone. Originally, I thought that stuff spread around the box. But since it feels more like silicone, it probably is corrosion inside. It is "powder" like when I rub it between my fingers.

Sent Bob another email today, still no response. Hope he is OK.

I don't like the fact that I did have no spark a few days ago. This is weird.

Anyone local to you that you could swap out the LTCC box just to confirm its that?

Good suggestion. I'll have to find someone, I'm sure there is. With that said, the red flash every 4 seconds at key on engine off has stopped about 15 minutes ago. Very confusing.

I would ask Bob if its safe to use quick drying electrical contact cleaner inside that box with a Q-Tip. However, I think you might be looking at an opti sensor issue.

Soon as he replies, I'll ask him. Dumb question Patrick, but Would me having injector pulse not rule out an opti sensor issue? I ask because, every time it wouldn't start, I had injector pulse. Still, I'm not bitching at changing the opti by any means. Just don't want to tear it apart and not be the issue

Removed all 6 screws that are in/outside the LTCC box. Honestly, it seems like you can't take this thing apart. Without breaking it at least. What gives me a problem is the connector on the unit. That is what prevents you from removing it from the box.

I don't do YouTube as a rule but I use a search engine that's unusual also and this one popped up in it so thought I'd look.

**Not looking to 'hijack your thread' but there's an Impala SS I believe here in the area that runs a heavily modified later intake with a Vortec Distributor (flat cap) with a later PCM. Support seems to be maybe lacking for the LTCC and I thought it maybe deserved a 'look see'. I don't have an LT1/4 so I'm maybe only curious.

I don't recall ever seeing one done in a C4 here in the CF. I understand it needs to be done with later fuel rails. If there's one, two or a few here on the CF I'd appreciate a link to a thread discussing it. Aside from the intake machining everything else appears to be a JY find and seemingly endless support.

JUST CURIOUS!!!!

Here is what Bob told me through email.

And yeah, at certain times, I had both the red and green LED's on steady. At that point, car would not start.

Sounds like you may have it figured out. I am glad it's not the opti LOL.

Forgot to mention it but I bought another LTCC box from him when I was having the no start. Ever since then it fired up. And car did great with the 600 mile trip the new owner took in the car.

Glad you updated this. Even the LTCC system is not perfect.

Good luck on your search for a new car.
