Default Tire sizes

Thinking about going up in tire and wheel size....
Anyone else?? Wondering about going from 17's to either 18 or 19...

Lol... right.. 1993. Has 17 x 8.5 and 17 x 9.5...

Lots of people run 18s on C4s. They can look good. IMO, going to 19s or larger usually looks a little odd, because the C4 is so much small of a car than later generations. For widths, you can fit up to an 11" wheel with 315-width tires on your C4 with proper offsets (50mm).

Yep. The tires are BFG Rival S in that size, at all four corners. This is my rolling stock for autocross competition. Here's a front-quarter shot while cornering at moderate Gs so you can better see how the fit within the fenders:



They fill them completely, but don't really poke outside of them at the top.

PS - Another nice thing about these wheels is that they're easy to clean. OTOH, they're really dirty in this pic because it was cold and rainy around this event!

My car is Torch Red as well. It'll be a couple of months before it is ready though.
