Header Primary Size Question.
85, 355 Vortec W mild cam. Not looking to build a race car.
A few years ago I got a deal on some Hooker, Super Comp, headers with 1 3/4" tubes.. I know the smaller ones are better for torque production, and I like that because torque is fun.
How much will the larger primaries hurt torque production? Will I even notice? Should I buy a set with the smaller primaries?

I doubt you would notice it. I never gave 1 5/8" a second thought on my original car, I went straight for 1 3/4"
If there was some specific reason I needed to optimize, or emissions, maybe.
