Vette wouldn't start...

Vette wouldn't start...
So I hop in the vette to head to classes this morning, and it would not start. It wouldn't even crank. It made a brief "whirring" sound for about a second, then nothing. All the lights and stuff came on, but no engine. I didn't have time to trouble shoot, so I drove the truck.
I get home with the time to troubleshoot, and try it to start it. It starts up without any hesitation. The volt gauge is around 15, which seems about right. I checked the battery connections, everything looks good. Does anybody have any ideas why it wouldn't start this morning, but when I get home everything is suddenly fixed? :confused:

VATS - my guess is it didn't read the key this morning when you were in a hurry.
