No temperature display

No temperature display
Hi, I have an 84 with no temperature display. When you flip the switch to temperature the display goes blank. When you flip the switch to voltage you can read "volts" and nothing else. Any ideas on where to start to trouble shoot. I am assuming it is something in the dash. Thanks!!!
