400 Dyno Results
Edit: Also, looking back at the data from that 12.84 run it took 5.10 seconds and 230 feet to reach 60 mph. She makes more power than the numbers would indicate.

If I wanted a dyno-queen number a bigger intake and cam revving to the sky would certainly put down bigger max. HP numbers, but I want a combination that can live life on the road course for years without demolishing valvesprings and that can be cooled adequately so I don't have to pull off the track every 10 minutes to let it cool down - which is harder to do where I live up in the thin air. I was simply posting so somebody can see what this combo does or doesn't do and decide if it is for them or how they might want to tweak it based upon their goals. I was also posting to dis-spell the rumor that an engine of this type does better with larger aftermarket throttle bodies which actually lost me power.BTW, I have seen multiple dyno sheets of LS7s that are within 5 HP +/- at the rear wheels of the results I posted with less torque. That being said, I liked what somebody else said - I don't race dyno sheets I race cars
On that front I have not found an C6 Z06 in stock form - and one that wasn't stock, that isn't about a car length or two behind me on a long straight. Accomplished exactly what I was looking for. If I ever feel like I need more, I agree, a larger CC head and ported intake would be in the offering. But I can't see spending $3,000 for 50-60 HP when I could get more out of my lap time by $3,000 worth of seat time - and have a lot more fun doing it
