Go back into the conduit and get the wire colors. It's obviously I believe a relay that's 'likely' been used to replace an original. Wire colors would help confirm that. Rear of drivers wheel-house there a couple possibilities. Is the car an M6 or an A4?

The car is a 6 spd.
I tried to find it using the part number and all that it said is that it is a relay. I probed the wires and the reds are hot. The white are interesting. In that the probe was faint and then lit up all the way. I did it a couple of times to see if maybe the connection was not good. Each time I did it. The same thing happened i.e.a very faint glow and then fully lit up. I found a few other wires that were cut and bundled. I am heading back to Guam in a couple of days and the car is running so I am going to let this one rest until I return. I think I should just buy a wiring harness, when I rreturn. All of this guessing just sucks.
Thank you for the help.
Thise are clearly not factory connections. My guess is that is a relay for an aftermarket alarm? Is you car equipped with one?
I think you are correct. I removed from under the dash a non functioning alarm system. There is a high probability that the relay belongs to it. Like you said after looking at the wires they clearly are not factory. Sounds like the best guess.
Thank you
