WOT upshift point for 4th gear?
As the owner of a 3rd gen Camaro too, I'm well aware of the fact that most 700R4s don't upshift to 4th gear at WOT, however Corvettes are the exception.
At what point does the transmission shift up into 4th gear at WOT? Mine was running at 5200 RPM in 3rd, and wouldn't upshift into 4th. I let off the gas, which then shifted into 4th, but when I went to WOT again, it shifted right back into 3rd. I know the TPI doesn't make much power that high in the RPM band, and I also don't want to damage my engine. I'm worried at some point my transmission was either rebuilt/replaced with one without the WOT upshift sleeve.

My c4 doesn't shift to OD at full throttle, is a real pain on speed trails.
Have to go to around 125mph lift the throttle, then slowly accelerate and after a while can floor it without downshifting out of OD.
For 1/4 mile its not a problem though, just the odd time you can go as fast as you want its a pain...

Maximum rpm shift speed is controlled by governor. It doesn't change depending on gear or mph on a non electric shift transmission. So if the 1-2 shift is at 5100 the 3-4 shift should also be at 5100. There are kits consisting of springs and weights to change governor shift rpm .Stock TPI starts to run out of air 4500 -5000 rpm.

Indeed his WOT 3-4 upshift should be the same RPM as for each lower gear change. The 1-2 likely comes too quickly and the tach isn't fast enough to accurately display it so the 2-3 should provide the value.
