Coilover suspension?
I want to drop my car a bit, I was wondering if there was a big difference in ride quality between doing it the coilover route or the regular "wedges and longer bolt kit". How much does a coilover suspension cost installed anyways?

$1000 in parts, plus installation, which may or may not require frame modification.

Who sells the parts for $1000? I can't find it anywhere that cheap.

Exotic Muscle (www.exoticmuscle.com)
and
Doug Rippie do (www.dougrippie.com)
Both are said to be excellent setups, but for the same amount of money I'd go with DRM. :yesnod:

You can't get any coilover system for that price.
The lowest I have seen is around $1300 for the Exotic muscle kit.
Mozot,
I have the DRM xtra grip coilover setup and it was installed by Top Flight Corvette. I absolutely love my setup, it is a totally different vette.
Give Lawton a call at 858-547-8388 and ask him about Paul's Steel blue corvette. he can point you in the right direction.
BTW: if you are curious about the ride, I am willing to take you for a test drive.

Do you know if that comes with shocks? I think for that price it is just the sleeves, collars, and springs.
If it is for that price then I got ripped off.
SSLT1,
I am not sure if I am going to go. When is it again?

I believe its 1000 for the coil over parts, but no shocks. The DRM website seems to agree.

Re: Coilover suspension? (Gary K)
Ahhh, come to think of it, I think your right! I think that the kit comes with everything except the shocks. I briefly spoke to Tim about it when I was planning my new suspension. :yesnod:
