Default Front end shakes

Have a 96 and just took it out for a ride and once you hit about 60-65 the front end starts to shake a bit could it be cause it needs brakes and rotors or wheel hubs. Car has 62k and haven’t owned it long

First thing I'd do is get a four wheel/tires balanced and an alignment-- that is IF your tires are good. That will be your base line.

Probably not IMO but try hitting the brakes when it happens and see if it changes the shaking. I'd suspect tires, rims or wheel bearings if it's while driving a steady speed though the road surface could be contributing to it.

Even wheel bearings don't normally cause shaking. They get noisy, but not shaky. There's at least a 90% chance it's just tires out of balance, or possibly out of round or with a damaged belt internal to the carcass. There's a small chance you have a blown shock that's allowing the suspension to oscillate. If you're sure the problem is up front, those are the possibilities. If you feel it in the seat of your pants at all, then also check the six u-joints.

how long was the car sitting? Tires can flat spot, yes even radials and it would usually go away after 5-10miles.

My tires will flat spot and cause vibration. Additional tire pressure helps a lot. I also have one wheel that likes to throw weights so look and see if your wheels have weights on them.

Agree with those above. It happened to me in my 89 and I spent a week chasing down things. I finally caught the road in the perfect light one morning and saw the micro washboarding on the road that I would drive at 60-65. Also check bushings
