I have a 96 base coupe. Runs great. New opti, plugs and wires, 35k miles. I have one thing that bothers me. When I come to a stop light and am stopped holding the brake down I have a minor vibration in the steering wheel from the engine. If I lift my foot off the brake the vibration goes away completely even if the car does not move (slight incline). The engine is smooth as silk then. The RPM on the tach does not change that I can see. It must be vacuum related with the booster is the only thing I can think. Any thoughts? Thank You, Dan

As I was reading, I thought the same thing. There are lines to inspect, check valves ang then the condition of the brake booster itself. If it were mine, I'd not worry about it. You will spend lots of time chasing this vibration. If it really bugs you, shift into neutral at stops.

It must be internal to the booster. Right? If it was the main line wouldn't it happen all the time?
