wiper adjustment

on my 88 the drivers side wiper goes past the edge of the window on to the metal trim. when parked it is all the way at the stop. what do I do?

Follow JonM site to get to the wipers adjustment. You have to push the driver wiper pass the stop below the windshield and tighten the nuts at the same time. have to do it a few times until you satify with the wiper movement. If you play around too much, the pass. wiper may colided with the driver, so test it good before putting the screen that cover the adjustment nuts back on.

Been there, fought that, the length of the blades has to be reduced to about 18-19 inch from the supposed stock 20 inch....bet it's due to wear, but it's the only cure I found, and I fought hard....

One of the best things you can do for your wipers is order a set of the '94 to '96 wiper arms from Jeff Kopp or your local stealer, and then adjust them.
