Looks like a good hit.

Where are you ET and MPH wise compared to before you pulled compression out of the engine?

….. Both are currently about the same as before … and I'm still working on the tune … AFR's a bit on the rich side on purpose and I haven't even moved the timing yet … I did go from 4.33 gears to 4.10's … and the air here is still pretty bad … I was hoping for a few more runs that night but someone broke a diff on the starting line so I packed it up …..

….. Raced last night and the performance was off a bit … fast forward to this afternoon … I pulled the car out to wash it and when I went to pull it back in the garage , it would not start … quick check indicated the fuel pump wasn't running … pulled the pump out and hot wired it to a battery and it was singing loud … checked the wiring pass-through and found the fuel pump pin nicely black … so I made a new bulk head pass through out of a nylon toilet seat screw … drilled 2 holes through it just larger than the diameter of the pump wires and ... Voila … it runs … sealed it with some RTV and put the other screw into a small container of E85 to see if I make napalm out of it or not …..

….. Pics of the fuel pump bulkhead connector … note the black pin on the left … also a pic of what became my new bulkhead wiring pass-through … plastic toilet seat screw …..
On the last pass Friday night , the datalogger indicated that the fuel pressure had dropped to 31psi from 45 at 5500 rpm and up … not sure how much this cost me in performance yet
but I'll find out at Wednesday TnT … and here I thought it was the air that was killing ET …..
