Help! Car won't start.
I haven't started my '86 in about a month and when I tryed it wont start. After 2-3 cranks the battery goes weak and I hook batt to another car. I was keeping the revs up on the other car and my friend got in mine and before cranking it started mashing the gas peddle down several times. I'm sure that couldnt have been good. I checked the oil fill cap and the valve cover opening and it smells like gas. Any help would be really appreciated.

You might have 2 problems right now. You might have flooded the car and you might just need a new battery. Test the battery to see if it has any charge at all. If it's too low you won't be able to jump it and even if you did then you might just ruin your alternator trying to charge it back up.

I'm pretty sure that I have in fact flooded it. When I crank it the voltage read out goes to 12.x after cranking for about 3 seconds, but then rises back to the occasion(13.x) of trying to start the car. Is there a way to 'unflood' it?

Unflood by holding the accelerator to the floor while cranking. This shuts off the injectors (only during starting) and only air is passing through the engine. Also, I recommend getting a battery charger and charging up your battery. In the future, get a battery tender, or a timer and put it on your battery charger and set it for its minumum timer interval (usually 15 min) each day and this will keep your battery up and not overcharge it.
