3" x pipe options
#21
I have the following Magnaflow internal X-pipe resonator/muffler: #12568. It has dual 2.5" inlet/outlets. They also make a 3" inlet/outlet same design. Also see their "Accessories" heading on the site for true X-pipes: www.magnaflow.com
Having the 2.5" installed on your car do you think the 3" would clear?
Thanks for the info!

Burning Brakes
Flow master super 40's, just cause they where on the car. I cut the original 2 1/2in inlet/outlet pipes off and welded in new larger 3in pipes, just cuz I'm cheap. The new pipes welded in pretty easy. I like the popping/rapping thru the exhaust I get once I unwind the higher rpm's during deceleration. My exhaust can be noisy if I wanted it to be and if I don't you can hardly hear it. Depends on how you drive more than anything else. I have around $300 into my home made set-up.

Heyya - I have the 3” Magnaflow Tru-X pipe (3” inlet/outlet) along with a 3 inch B&B 1st gen exhaust and it fits without issue. I did have to tweak the location of the pipes before the X-pipe so I didn’t cut the B&B piping - This is all mated to EM headers. Anyways the part number for the pipe is 10792 or MPE-10792. It’s a tight for but works great. I did the install in the garage but didn’t get good pics of the pipe as it hadn't crossed my mind but you can kinda see it downstream in the pic (wish it showed better but it's all I got):

WHAT?!
I'm hard of hearing lol jk still in my 30s but this will get me there sooner - Just installed several weeks ago but its pretty loud throughout the frequency range, more of a Bass/Baritone sound than a Soprano but I love the sound. My old setup had more of a high pitched/"exotic" sound at high RPMs but wasn't for me....Anyways, this is a tad louder than my Z06 with B&B PRTs.
Don't you have the B&Bs WITH a supercharger?! Probably deaf as well, aren't ya

Drifting
The 3" Magnaflow "X-pipe resonator should clear if the O/A dimensions of the "resonator" are the same. The larger 3" pipes running from it towards the back would just be 1/2" closer to the ground. Check dimensions on the site...it's there.
