Low coolant sensor

On a 94 LT1, is the low coolant sensor on the bottom of the surge tank available separately? If so, how does it come out? Or is it part of the tank?

I don't think the sensor comes out. I have removed the tank and flushed them out before. New tanks come with the sensor installed.
