Default double roller - cam retainer bolt interference - LT1

Collecting parts for a cam swap - pretty much everything but the cam which I’ll buy at time of swap though have a good idea what I want already.

Already run a Meziere electric WP, have collected a vented Opti and a 95 timing cover. Plan is to go double roller. I was about to buy a Cloyes 9-3145 as it seems some have used it with success but also found in my research that it may interfere with the 2 bolts for the cam retainer. Is that true? 1994 should that matter.

I've been running the Cloyes 9-3145 in my 1994 LT1 for 10+ years without issue.

FYI: Some have had to clearance the inside of the timing cover to make it work.

Sounds good, knew some have to clearance the cover but was hoping the cam retainer bolts wouldn’t need to be filed down as well

The stock button head Torx bolts that secure the thrust plate to the block will be fine. I've never had them hit the back of a cam sprocket and I've built a ton of these engines.

In my research I had come across this thread which is much of where my question came from. That said, seems like many LT1s running this set without issue.
