1985 fuel pump help
so i plan on replacing my corvettes fuel pump after school today. I’m seeing many different things on how to do it
is it as easy as disconnected the battery and pulling out the pump in the back?
or do I need to drain the fuel tank or whatever blah blah blah complicated stuff

I think summit has a kit with gasket/new bolts, all stainless....I used it the last time I put one in my 85....the new bolts are much better....it's not a hard job, but on a 85, if i'm going in there, i'm changing the sending unit too...new versions are all stainless and really hold up....you may need a new rubber "boot" too.....it's hard to get the old one off if it's crusty......have fun.....
