HYPERTECH coil kit in!
I put teh coil kit in last night and went for a drive
I was worried they'd ship it UPS and it wouldn't be here by next week, frmo RENO, but It came fED-ex and was here next day
Threw a new plug in #7 too, which stay unfouled for almost 40 miles.
Overall the car is a lot smoother.
SOTP increase? Maybe... but the old cap/coil/rotor was the cheapest crap I could buy.

Too bad you couldn't have waited ;) My stock distributor is coming out, and I'll prolly sell it(Holley module, hypertech cap-coil etc).

Oh yeah, where can I get one of those white clips for the battery line? Mine broke, and it's kind of "hanging' in there right now..

Also last night, I took off to go in to the garage and the car felt like i ran over something and have to give it a little more throttle.
my friend said from the outside it was like a KWUMP kind of noise

You might want to pull the dist cap and put a little Lock Tite on those two nulon screws that hold the rotor.
I've had no problem with the Vette but one worked loose in the IROC.
Also, try a set of AC Delco plugs with cut back ground electrodes for the HP gain; with the HyperTech setup gap the plugs to .045" too.
Did you also do a set of low resistance spiral-would wires too?

OR you can do what I did temporarily. Run a stock GM rotor with steel screws. . . and loctite them. That sucker should go NOWHERE with that done. :yesnod:
