I keep reading that the JET performance chips are worthless. I deleted all emissions, threw in a high flow intake and long tube headers(x pipe) and no mufflers. Having the usual idle surge until warm up and wondering who does custom chips.
If you are done with mods or need the fan settings changed, then Ed Wright/Fastchip and Alvin/PCMofNC are good shots to go with.
If you plan multiple changes then I'd wait, what you have done now does not really need a chip to optimize. I'd recommend waiting until you can get it tuned on a dynojet with a wideband even then.
I see that the pcmofnc.com website is sorely missing '94-96. In a few months, I'll be looking for a tune to adjust fan on/off temperatures, calibrate the speedometer, and get the most out of some performance mods like LTH and CAI. What's the opinion of the site below? The layout of the website is easy to navigate, the prices aren't too bad, and I don't mind mail-in.

Considering that a lot of stuff came out of Decatur, I wonder if they still do it? I know that they used to because I had John Lingenfelter do it but he was the only one there and has passed. They might dyno tune the thing. If the tuner does not have a way for you to datalog and relies on the Butt Dyno, I'd dismiss that as a custom chip and call it "Guess a Tune". Most of the tunes I have gotten done have had several revisions to get it as close to it as possible.
