Automatic transmission cooler selection
Hi All,
Looking for recommendations on a trans cooler. 1991 396ci made 526hp on engine dyno, 700r4 trans rebuilt for 700hp. What have you used or could anyone help with a recommendation?

While my 95 does not put out near the HP that your's does after I put in the built 4l60e with the Yank 3200 TC, I had a B&M plate type trans cooler installed down low in front of the AC condenser. Helped lower the avg trans temp by 30 degrees. When you're driving at around and the TC is not locked up it generates a lot of heat. Full disclosure I don't race my car so no info on the degree of help it would be for temps in a road course situation.
